Itineraries
Morning Pickup
Time : 6:00 am
Pickup From Your Hotel
Your day starts with a complimentary pick up from your hotel. Pick up time from your Hotel in San Pedro will depend on where your hotel is located, but usually, it is around 6:00 am. Once picked up from your hotel we will drive into town and visit a Belizean deli, Ruby's, where you can get breakfast.
Travel to Belize City
Time : 7:00 am
Flight to the Mainland
At 7:00 am, you will board an airplane with Maya Island Air that takes you to Belize City. The flight takes 15 minutes.
Drive to Altun Ha
On Board a Private Vehicle
We will then take a 45-minute drive from the San Pedro Belize Water Taxi Terminal to Altun Ha, where you will get to explore this Mayan Ruins.
1st Activity: Altun Ha
And The Fun Begins
Once we arrive, you will get a 1hr 15 minute guided tour of the Altun Ha Mayan Site where you will have a chance to learn about the Maya, including history and you will also get to climb some breathtaking temples.
Drive to Baboon Sactuary
On Board a Private Vehicle
From Altun Ha to the Baboon Sanctuary, we drive for about 30 minutes to get there.
2nd Activity: Baboon Sanctuary
And The Fun Continues
You will arrive at the Baboon Sanctuary where you will get to spend 1 hour at the Sanctuary enjoying the company of our little friends Howler & Spider monkeys. Please remember if you wish to stay longer then its ok we are flexible.
Lunch Time
Nourishment After Activities
After the two activities, you will need nourishment. Lunch will be served Belizean style. Let us know if you have a different diet.
Drive To Jaguar Paw
On Board A Private Vehicle
We will then take an hour's drive from the Baboon Sanctuary to our destination, Jaguar Paw, where we get to enjoy Cave Tubing at the same park.
3rd Activity: Cave Tubing
And The Fun Continues
We will then start by fitting our gears and then take a 20-25 minute easy walk up to the cave entrance. You can have a little swim before going into the caves if you wish! Once at the entrance of the cave, your tour guides will tie the tubes together and you will float into the cave for about 1 hour. There you will enjoy seeing the stalagmites and stalactites formations and learn about Xibalba (The Mayan Underground). After you exit the cave system you will still have 30 minutes to float freely down the river.
Head Back Home
Back to Belize City on Private Vehicle
After Cave Tubing, we will start heading back home. You will board your private vehicle and head to Belize City to catch your boat back to Ambergris Caye. Drive usually takes 1 hour.
Travel to Ambergris Caye
Time : 4:30 pm
Flight to Ambergris Caye
You will board an airplane with Maya Island Air to go back to Ambergris Caye. The flight takes 15 minutes. You should be back by 5:00 pm.
