We are flexible with Inland Tours of 1 activity. We can stay back a while longer if visitors want, as we are not in a rush to do other activities. We can accommodate you on a later boat ride back home to Ambergris Caye.
Itineraries
Morning Pickup
Time : 8:00 am
Pickup From Your Hotel
Your day starts with a complimentary pick up from your hotel. Pick up time from your Hotel in San Pedro will depend on where your hotel is located, but usually, it is around 8:00 am. Once picked up from your hotel we will drive into town and have breakfast at Lily's Treasure Chest.
Travel to Orange Walk
Time : 9:00 am
Flight to Tower Hill Airstrip
At 9:00 am, you will board an airplane with Maya Island Air that takes you to Tower Hill, Orange Walk. The flight takes 18 minutes. You will then take a taxi to the river that leads to the Lamanai Mayan Ruins site.
River Tour
On Board a Private Boat
Once you reach the river in Orange Walk, you will board a private boat that will take you to Lamanai Mayan Ruins. On this river tour, you will get to see iguanas, monkeys and other native animals. The river tour takes 1 hour 15 minutes.
Lunch Time
Nourishment After River Tour
After the river tour, upon reaching Lamanai Mayan ruins, you will have lunch. Lunch will be served Belizean style. Let us know if you have a different diet.
Explore the Lamanai Mayan Ruins
Time : 10:30 am
Now The Fun Begins
You will reach your destination at about 10:30 am. Once at the Lamanai Mayan Ruins, you will be given a guided tour of the site. The tour takes about 2 hours.
Head Back Home
Back On The River
After having the tour of Lamanai Mayan Ruins, we will start heading back home. You will head back on the river on your private boat back to Orange Walk. The river tour takes 1 hour 15 minutes. Then you will take a 10 minute ride on taxi to the airstrip in Tower Hill to catch your plane.
Travel To Ambergris Caye
Time : 3:40 pm
Flight to Ambergris Caye
You will board an airplane with Maya Island Air to go back to Ambergris Caye. The flight takes 18 minutes.
